Amy Aguirre is the Administrative Assistant II for the AccessAbility Resource Center.
Proudly born and raised from the El Paso and Ciudad Juárez, Mexico border. ¡Arriba Juárez!
She began her career working with students with disabilities in 2009 at El Paso Community College at the Center for Students with Disabilities. She provided note-taking and tutoring services to students in the department. Later, assisted in the technology lab where she would assist students with technology and software related issues. Lastly, became assistant to the manager of Project HIGHER; an innovative program that assists individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (ages 18-25) to complete a level-one certificate and find employment in their area of study. Amy received her undergraduate from the University of Texas at El Paso.
Amy joined UT Dallas in May of 2022.
